ANDRÉS JUÁREZ TRONCOSO

Andrés Juárez Troncoso addresses through his photographic works several issues related to gender identity, gender expression, discrimination, LGBTQ+ phobia, HIV phobia, and femicides. He is continuously enquiring what it means to be human. He constantly tries to use his work to make visible those little-known realities in our world.  Behind an artistic image, Andrés reveals a concern related to a topic affecting our society hitting the nail on the head and awakening the consciousness of the audience who perceives his work.

He has received different distinctions and has exhibited his work around the world.
